The Grey Area

The below prices are a “guideline” price. Each event is a tailored experience and we will always try to be flexible with prices with applicable discounts when we know full details of event or party.

The Fee

Average hourly rate is £75. Can be reduced if more than 3hours and if a DJ is required to supply equipment.

DJs may add travel charges if event requires a long commute / venue remote location.

Short DJ Sets

Our DJs without equipment start at £200. The cost can vary depending on the event and day of the week. For nights with 2 hour Gala gigs, the minimum cost is £400.

Choose from 9 different DJs with unique styles of music and DJing for your event. We recommend certain DJs for specific types of events such as clubs, corporate events, and parties, while others are great for small gatherings and weddings.

Six out of nine DJs can provide speakers and lighting equipment for parties engaging 50-300 people.

If you require equipment and choose from the three DJs who do not provide it, we can suggest AV companies that can set up things for the DJs. These companies will charge VAT on prices.

Our DJs are talented, and we can adjust our services to meet your needs. Our standard set lasts from 3 to 6 hours, but we can play up to 8 hours per event.

We can personalise our DJ sets for corporate events that require utmost efficiency and time management.

We can cater to your event, but we have a minimum two-hour requirement for private parties, bar nightclubs, and corporate galas.

Your deposit will be refunded if you cancel at least 56 days before the event. If you cancel between 28 and 56 days before the event, you’ll get 50% of your deposit back. If you cancel less than 28 days before the event, you won’t get any of your deposit back. If you cancel within 7 days of paying your deposit and the full amount, you won’t get any money back. If the event ends early for any reason other than the DJ’s performance, no refund will be given. If the DJ(s) feel threatened by the behavior of you or your guests, they will leave with their equipment and come back later to collect it when the guests have left. No refund will be given in this situation.

If you want to hire a DJ but don’t know if the place has equipment, just let us know. We can give you two prices, one that includes equipment and one that doesn’t (just the fee for the DJ’s service).

We need to know where the event is to figure out the cost of setting up. Some event places don’t have parking, so DJs will need to take a taxi, which will be an additional cost. Also, certain areas in London charge more for parking or driving in, and this cost will also be added to the total fee. If there are extra hours needed, there will be an extra half-hourly fee that will be paid at the end. We don’t charge VAT, but if you ask a hire company to set up for the DJ, they will charge you separately for VAT.

We will send you a rough estimate based on the details you give us over the phone, email, or online. If it’s a private party and there’s time before the event, we’ll send a DJ to the venue to make sure everything is okay, and we’ll confirm all the details with you.

We’ll make sure our estimate will meet your needs or remove items to reduce the cost. If you’re happy with the final estimate, you’ll get an invoice with Terms and Conditions.

You can pay a deposit of 50% with your card, and the remaining 50% is due 14 days before the event. This will secure the DJ, and the booking will be confirmed.

When you ask us about a DJ for your event, we’ll check if they’re free on your chosen date. Sometimes they might already be booked by us or someone else.

Our DJs work at London bars and nightclubs, and they may have other bookings already. But if they’re available, we’ll let you know. You can only book the DJ if you agree to our invoice and pay a deposit.

Until you do, the DJ might take another booking for the same date. If your chosen DJ isn’t free, we’ll suggest another DJ who would be good for your event. 

Bookings for NYE are at different rates:

We can give discounts to customers who spend more than £750 on DJ fees and equipment.

Some equipment items may also have reduced rates if you book them for events. However, we cannot offer discounts on the DJ fee alone since we have a fixed rate.

Some DJs may be willing to extend their set by an hour, but the hourly fee remains the same. We don’t offer discounts in December or on New Year’s Eve.

We can’t match the prices of other DJ companies nor individual DJs operating on their own. Our prices are a little higher because we have additional costs for running the business. We try to keep prices reasonable, but we can’t match prices exactly because each DJ has a unique style and way of playing music.

We suggest doing some research before hiring a DJ just based on price. If you have a quote from another company for equipment only, we may be able to match that if it’s for similar quality equipment but not for the hour DJ fee.

Our DJs provide high-quality equipment like speakers and lights, but we can’t match prices if another company is providing lower quality equipment.

We’ve been running for 10 years and get new DJ applications every day, but we can’t take just anyone.

We only select DJs who are skilled, reliable, experienced, and presentable, and we currently have 9 DJs who fit our criteria.

Our clients pay a lot of money for their events, and they don’t want average or bad DJs ruining their night. Our DJs are specialised for each event and know how to work with event organisers.

They can play all genres and age groups and can even get tired guests dancing. Some events require specific skills like scratching, and we have four DJs who can showcase this. Just because someone has a DJ setup does not mean they have the experience and understanding to be a good DJ.

That’s why we only have 9 DJs, who fit the bill for all our client’s needs.
