We started with an initial room check online and asked for dimensions to figure out how many uplighters and the brightness level needed based on the client’s input for effective planning of uplighters and the right PA setup for the guests.

The DJ arrived, and the Great Gatsby Party backdrop was already set up for the band and DJ. The DJ first set up the wireless uplighters and tested the colors and brightness. Everything was fine, so they switched off the uplighters to recharge for extra battery life until 20 minutes before guests arrive.
Speakers were placed behind the band since they were scheduled to leave right after the DJ’s set. It’s best to keep separate setups for the band and the DJ on the same evening. The DJ booth was centered.
The Great Gatsby Party began with jazz music from the band during cocktail drinks.
Band: The Ryan McCaffrey Sessions have played together for years in various formats, performing on cruise ships and at top venues in London like Ronnie Scotts and The Jazz Café, making them perfect for the Great Gatsby Party. They have worked with well-known names like Roberto Manzin, Alan Barnes, Clark Tracey, and Trevoe Tomkins. They can be hired as a solo act up to a five-piece band featuring Emily Farrar on vocals.
The DJ Set included classic Old Skool R&B, UK Garage, and timeless 90s party tracks with a double play of Candy for fun.
